Medical Equipment Intake Specialist-Lincoln

Make your career goals become a reality at Frontier Home Medical! We are looking for a motivated, friendly person with previous medical billing experience to round out our Medical Equipment Intake Specialist department in the Lincoln area.

You should have:

  • 1-2 years previous medical, home medical equipment or rehab account accounts receivable experience.
  • A passion for customer service and patient care.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and patient respect.
  • Organizational and computers skills.
  • Outgoing and positive attitude.

Medical Equipment Specialist Duties:

  • Communicates with Rehab customers/referrals by phone or in person and receives orders for delivery, pick-up, discontinuance, maintenance or changes in service.
  • Completes intake, same/similar and insurance verification, determines charges and coverage for service requested, collects co-pays and inputs data into information system.
  • Collects compliant medical necessity forms.
  • Responsible for held/stopped and outstanding sales orders, WIP state assignments and notes/tasks.
  • Submits prior authorization requests and ensures complete Rehab related documentation is prepared according to payer rules and regulations.
  • Communicates with Rehab Representatives/ATPs and the Director of Rehab on any issues, needs and status updates.


Medical Equipment Accounts Receivable Specialist-Lincoln

  • 1-2 years previous medical, home medical equipment or rehab account accounts receivable experience.

Medical Equipment Accounts Receivable Specialist Duties:

  • Communicates with Rehab customers/referrals by phone or in person seeking payment
  • Primary responsibility is Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing and collections
  • Responds timely to denials or underpayments
  • Files appeals as necessary
  • Assists with audit response
  • Ensures that documentation is scanned and readily available
  • Participates in regular Accounts Receivable meetings
  • Communicates issues with price tables and modifier
  • Remains current in payer rules and regulations
  • Communicates timely through notes/tasks with fellow staff
  • Communicates with Rehab Representatives/ATPs and the Director of Rehab on any issues, needs and status updates


Respiratory Therapist-North Platte/Cozad

Make excellence in patient care your goal by joining Frontier! We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable person to join our Respiratory Therapy team in the North Platte/Cozad area. No weekends or holidays and very limited on-call schedule!

You should have:

  • AS or BS Degree in Respiratory Care or Nursing.
  • RT job experience is a plus.
  • Passion for customer service and patient care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient respect.
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage criteria.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Computer and equipment literacy.
  • Motivational and outgoing attitude.

Respiratory Therapist Duties:

  • Assess care based on given prescription and patient information.
  • Set up and operate respiratory devices; monitor patient physiological responses.
  • Consult with physicians, collect any required documentation and maintain patient charts.
  • Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment; order repairs as needed.
  • Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and other health care personnel as well as provide added training support to staff.
  • Advise customers on sale/rental of equipment and quote prices/payment terms.
  • Travel to area locations to provide services.


Patient Care Technician-Lincoln
